Construction has just started on the second of our new design Innovation 55 Power Catamaran. The first 55 which is to be fitted out for extended cruising/live aboard will have all the amenities her WA customer could wish for. Starting with extended fuel tanks for great range when traveling around the remote Northern Territory and the North West of Western Australian waterways, up-graded engines (CAT C15s) for added performance when needed and a fully functional transom work/play station for all his fishing, freezing and cooking needs when living the out-door lifestyle our customer craves for. With a huge and stable cockpit area and plenty of get-up-and-go, the new Innovation 55 will be the ‘purr-fect' cat for the job.
The second 55 which will see her new home in Northern Queensland is to be fitted out for some serious fishing tournaments with outriggers and a full island preparation centre on the transom. Whilst the rest will be rocking and rolling, these clever clients will be reeling in the big ones in complete comfort.
Innovation will host an official launch of the new Innovation 55 at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which will be held in Queensland in May 2008. Below is a concept photo of the Innovation 55. Pretty isn't she?

Innovation 52 enclosed flybridge
After a lot of anticipation and excitement, sea-trials were finally underway for our latest Innovation 52. This beautiful craft was constructed to stringent Queensland Survey 2C certification. This included many up-dated safety features and additional structural work on what is already a very tough boat. The end result is a very strong and safe vessel for the owners and their young family to enjoy when it is not at work earning a living.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C12s the I52 will sprint – when fully loaded – to 28.5 knots. Excellent results considering the volume of this model has been likened to a 60 foot mono hull. Aesthetically the I52 is quite simply a stunner.

June 2007
The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has to be one of the nicest venues one could attend anywhere. Being in the beautiful location on Hope Island in tropical South East Queensland, Australia and having the perfect climate to boot; the show generated the perfect "boat-buying" atmosphere.
The show proved to be a great success for many exhibitors including Innovation, who proudly took a number of immediate orders at the show with many more excellent leads to follow up.
From market research and direct feedback there is no doubt there is a new trend happening. Where traditionally mono-hull purchasers wouldn't even look at a multi-hull (Cat), all our customers were from the "other side" and have finally seen the benefits of owning a well designed catamaran over an equivalent mono-hull. Innovation can see this trend growing stronger and stronger in the future and one day in the not too distant future "Cats" will be the way to go.
Innovation would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came to our cocktail party evening at the show. It was a pleasure to meet new faces and to catch up with past clients and soon to-be clients. You all helped to make it a very enjoyable evening.
The new Innovation 52 with the fully enclosed flybridge proved to be very popular as all orders taken since has been with this configuration.
Keep watching our web site for further up-dates.
